How the directory works

What you can do here

Browse the firms, read a guide, or send a site we have not listed.

  • Taken from the firm’s website

If it is not on their site, it is not on the card. No Maps dump. No invented bio.

    • Services in their words
    • A TCSP number only when they printed one
    • No invented phones, fees or star ratings
  • Published prices stay as printed

If they published a formation or secretary package, we keep the number. If they did not, the cell is blank.

    • Compare uses printed figures only
    • Government fees are labelled as government fees
    • We do not invent a “from $X”
  • Add a firm, or claim one

Not on the directory? Send the website. Already listed? Claim the page with your business registration number.

    • Add needs a website, a sector and a work email
    • Claim needs the listing, an 8-digit BR and a work email
    • Add requests are researched. They do not go live from the form.
  • Guides for the actual rules

Company services, law, visas and architecture. Written from official pages, not from sales copy.

    • Incorporation, NAR1, MPF and business registration
    • Law List, Bar List and how to instruct
    • ImmD schemes, ARB, HKIA and Buildings Department

Click a mark or a name. The picture shows coverage, not a street address, and it is not a Google Maps scrape.

Three steps, then you check the register

We do not sell incorporation, company secretary work, visas or legal advice.

  1. 01

    We open the firm’s website

That is the source. Services they name, packages they publish, a TCSP number only if it is on the page.

  2. 02

We write the listing from that

A short summary, the services, and any prices they actually printed. No invented fees, phones or star ratings.

  3. 03

    You still check Companies Registry

We link the official registers. We do not copy them onto the card. The legal record stays with the government.

A firm website sells the work. Google mixes ads and reviews. We list Hong Kong firms and leave the official record with the government.

FAQ

Common questions

What this site is, how a firm gets on the list, and what we are not.

What is ranked.hk?

A directory of Hong Kong firms: company services, law, visas and architecture. We do not sell those services. We are not a government office.

Do you have guides as well as listings?

Yes. Company-service guides cover incorporation, NAR1, business registration, MPF, the employer’s return, two-tier profits tax, and changing a name or registered office. Law guides point at the Law List, the Bar List and China-appointed attesting officers. Visa guides are written from ImmD pages, including employment versus talent routes. Architecture guides point at ARB, HKIA and Buildings Department. None of that is legal or immigration advice.

Can I find a company secretary here?

Yes, under company services, with formation, registered office, payroll and accounting. Law, visa and architecture firms have their own pages.

How do I get my firm listed?

Open Add your company and send the website, the sector and a work email. If the page already exists, use Claim.

What is the difference between Add and Claim?

Add is for a firm that is not here yet. Claim is for a page that already exists. Claim asks for the 8-digit business registration number. Add does not. That number is not sent to analytics.

Is this the Companies Registry?

No. Not ImmD, the Law Society, the Bar, ARB, Buildings Department or HKIA either. Those sites are the legal record. We link them. Nothing here is legal advice, and we do not act as company secretary for anyone.

Are the prices government fees?

Only when the card says so. The HK$3,895 electronic filing total for 2026–27 is the Companies Registry plus IRD figure. A package price on a listing is whatever that firm printed. If they did not publish a number, the cell is blank.

Does every Hong Kong company need a secretary?

Yes, from the date of incorporation. An individual secretary must live in Hong Kong. A corporate secretary needs a registered office or place of business here. The sole director of a private company cannot also be the secretary.

Can a firm pay to sit at the top?

Not yet. When sponsored slots exist they will be labelled. Until then the order is not for sale, and it is not a ranking.
